Biometrics4ALL announces today that its industry leading tenprint and palmprint
criminal booking systems have helped the County of Merced, CA Sheriff’s
Department add full palmprint acquisition without increasing overall booking
time. Biometrics4ALL’s kiosk style booking station comes standard with latest
scanner hardware, height adjustable capture surface, all-steel construction,
ergonomic designs that accommodate full size keyboard and mouse, and
sophisticated LiveScan booking software.
Biometrics4ALL shipped the ordered systems, installed, integrated, and trained
the Sheriff staff in one week. Sergeant Bobrowski, Merced County Sheriff
Department, stated, “We were extremely impressed with Biometrics4ALL’s
efficiency, quality of the LiveScans products delivered, ease of use, and
knowledgeable staff. Biometrics4ALL implementation team came in, installed the

family, state- ofthe- art technology to meet civil and law enforcement
identification demands. The collaboration with Biometrics4ALL enables NEC to
offer a fast and accurate end-to-end solution, from identification to booking.
LA County’s Purchasing and Contracting Division awarded this contract to
Biometrics4ALL after careful evaluation of all of the major vendor’s products.
The process was comprised of a written technical response and hands-on testing
by an evaluation committee including the LA County Sheriff’s Department. A
majority of LiveScan and Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS)
vendors participated in this bid (e.g., Identix, Cross Match, and Cogent

September 11, 2006 Biometrics4ALL has recently been awarded a $3 Million Dollar Contract by the Los Angeles County with a $2 million dollar extension option, to provide all applicant LiveScans to the County Departments. Biometrics4all successfully
delivered the first 60 LiveScan systems. These initial units were delivered to the LA County Sheriff’s Department, the Department for Children’s and Family Services, and the Internal Services Division. Since the successful implementation,
several cities have followed the County’s lead and purchased Biometrics4ALL LiveScan equipment.
