Q.  What identifications are considered acceptable? 

     A. Valid Identification (see page 5 of this document)

Q.  How do I advertise my LiveScan services?

     A.  While there are many traditional ways to advertise your services, you will be provided with a FREE listing on the DOJ's official website. 

Q.  It’s been 7 days since I’ve done my LiveScan and I still have not received my response?

     A.  You can use this FORM to request DOJ to conduct research.

Q.  My customer’s LiveScan transmissions have been rejected twice due to poor fingerprint quality, what can I do?

     A.  There are people in this world whose fingerprints are simply too poor to process, therefore, Cal-DOJ has prepared a FORM to request name based check after two failed submissions.

Q.  I have made a typo in one of the transaction, should I resubmit it with correction?

     A.  No, you should use this FORM to request correction with DOJ.  Alternatively, you may redo the entire transaction as a new transaction; however, you will be charged for BOTH transactions.
